March Madness!!

Well, March may have come in like a lion, but it was filled with many new memories for the Harris clan. Joel and I have decided that we have a puppy, Archer has been eating 8oz of formula, I am so glad that he can start rice cereal soon. Archer has been discovering his voice and jabbers and coos all the time. He hasn't quite got the idea of rolling over yet, but I think he is really close. Joel and I are having fun watching him grow, and it breaks our hearts when we put outfits on him that were big a few months ago that are now almost to small.

Uncle Adam and Aunt Carlene gave Archer a super cute frog outfit for Christmas and he is finally big enough to rock it!! Thanks Adam and Carlene, he is Adorable in it!!

I hate that Joel is working nights, but it does make it possible for Joel to be able to be home during the day to play and bond with The Boy. Aren't they CUTE!!

Archer's favorite thing is to try to fit his fist inside his mouth, which he accomplished pretty well, if you ask me.
We had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Idaho Falls, and then down to Lehi Utah for Adam and Carlene's wedding. And before we could go Archer needed a hair cut. I could not have my sweet little boy rocking a mullet anymore. So Grandma Harris was sweet enough to give him his first hair cut. He was such a good little trooper through all.

My Mom's birthday was the weekend we were down so my parents came up to Idaho Falls from Malad and had some fun with the Grand baby.

It must be a Grandpa thing, because as soon as my Dad picked him up he passed out. Yep it's official, Grandpa's are comfy cozy.

Bet you can't guess who he looks like there, and where our chins come from. Gotta love the chin dimple.

Joel and I had this thought that we would leave Archer with his parents while we all went to dinner. It was a good thought, but Grandma Jones just couldn't get enough of Archer, so we packed up a cranky little boy and headed to dinner. Poor little man had been in the are seat all day and was now back, and he screamed the whole way to the restaurant. But once there he had fun flirting and smiling at our waitress.

"Peekaboo," Grace and Caleb had fun making faces at their little cousin.

Unfortunately Caleb was sick while we were there and we had to keep Archer away from him as much as we could. But before we found out that Caleb might have had Croup he had fun playing on Archer's play mat. A big Thanks for Lindsey and Julie for washing and sanitizing everything to help keep Archer from getting sick.

The Boise crew had fun playing with their little nephew, and of course Archer loved all the attention he was getting.
"Pinch my cheeks Grandpa!"

Adam and Carlene asked us all to wear purple for the wedding and I was so excited when I found a purple argyle sweater for Archer. I also got Joel's tie for a super good deal. Oh yeah!! I love good deals!!
He was just so cute in his little outfit that we had to take some quick little pictures before the wedding. Doesn't Archer look so Cute with his fancy new hair cut.

"Oh yeah mom, I am looking good."

Erin and Brady had fun holding our little man. Since Archer is a little winter baby, he hasn't had much opportunity to go outside and it wasn't until we were taking pictures that it occurred to me that I should have put sunscreen on him.

But, we just put a blanket over his head and snuggled up close. Great Aunt Terri and Grandma Harris did a good job of making sure Archer stayed covered and loved. I felt bad though as we all were walking around taking pictures outside the temple, our cousin Chris and and his wife Michelle were kind enough to pack around all of our crap that you have to have with you when you have a baby. I wish I had taken a picture. Thanks so so much Chris and Michelle for helping and being so wonderful and willing to help.

Even though Archer is not yet rolling over he is secretly becoming mobile, it just happens to be in his sleep. I have gone in to get him up and found him with his feet up where his head should be, and his little feet poking out through the bars of the crib. I might just need to get a teddy cam to see what is happening.
As most mom's know it can be a struggle to get even the simplest of chores done when you have a grumpy baby. So Archer helped me carry the laundry up from the dryer. Once I put him in the basket on top of the warm towels he calmed right down and later fell asleep. YAY!! for a sleeping baby!!

Well, March is about over and Archer is almost 4 months old and continues to steal our hearts everyday. I hope as the weather starts to warm up that warm sunny memories are in store.
