February Fun!

The Month of February has been super fun. First it was the Superbowl, then My Birthday, and Valentines Day, all of which made for some great picture perfect moments with The Boy.
Great Grandma Burdett, My Grandma. Got Archer his first Valentines outfit. The little stinker would smile and laugh up until I would have the camera in his face for the cutest picture ever, he would stop. So sorry Grammy, no smile pictures but he was pretty stinking cute in it.
Later that evening Archer decided to break in the new outfit and had his first really Blow Out!!! So don't let the cute little innocent face fool you. This boy means business when it comes to business!
I just have the Most Handsome Boys in the World!!!
In the last few weeks Archer has been liking his tummy time more and more. He has gone from a grunting and and fighting it, to completely passing out and sleeping all afternoon.
I am afraid that he is going to be like his Mother and be a total belly sleeper. At night now he falls asleep on his belly and before we go to bed we roll him over onto his little back.
Many times when we pull the blankets back to do so he has stuck his little bum up in the air. He also discovered the his thumb. We will spend the day pulling his thumb from his mouth, hoping that he will not get to attached to sucking his thumb. Silly Archer!!

I Had a wonderful Birthday, Joel was sweet and bought me flowers and a card, and Archer even picked a card out for me too. Joel picked out two cards and held them in front of Archer and which ever one he stared at the longest was the one he picked. I loved both of my cards!!Joel is still working on the one armed family photo, poor little Archer got chopped off.

Archer has become more alert and active and has really enjoyed his play mat. He is starting to grab the rings on the elephant and pull on the legs of the other animals. Other times he will just stare at the little bird or look at himself in the mirror. I am loving that he is able to be entertained so I can get a few things done around the house.
We decided that since it was the Superbowl that he should wear his little football outfit from his Uncle Kevin and Aunt Becca. He even had on football socks to round out the look.

Archer loves his Daddy especially when Daddy is making him laugh. We are having so much fun with The Boy and cant' wait to see what March has in store. In other news Archer has made many of the other mom's jealous at church, the last two weeks he has slept all three hours of church. I hope that he continues to sleep for a while longer.

Look Who is Sitting Up

The last week or so Archer has been laughing and smiling a whole lot more. We are enjoying every minute of it. Our strong little boy is also starting to sit up against the back of the couch.

One of the cutest things is when Archer will look at Joel and just laugh and laugh.

When we went to the Dr. She was so impressed at how well he can hold his head up and push himself up, she said that he will be rolling over soon. Look out world Archer is becoming Mobile!!

Look at those Cheeks!!!! I just want to squish them!!!

February 2 was his two month birthday, and the poor guy had to go to the Dr. He was such a brave little guy. He had 2 shots in one leg and 1 in his other leg. He screamed so loud, I hated every second. When I could pick him up he calmed down pretty fast though. I am so glad I remembered to give him some baby tylenol before we went. But the fun part was finding out how much he as grown the last two months. Archer weighed in at 11.2 pounds, 22.5 inches tall, and his head is 15.5 inches around. Our little man is growing up. He is in the 45% for height, 50% for weight, and 50% for his head.

I love this little video, I just love my boys!!!

So here is an update on what Cute little Archer has been up lately.
His little personality is starting to show more and more everyday. During church today he was laughing and smiling. We loved it, needless to say I had no idea what the speaker was saying. Unarry speaker!!

Joel thought it would be fun to see if he could sit up on his own, and well it kinda worked. He would be sitting up for a while and then he would slowly start so slide to one side.

Archer loves to sleep on his belly, good thing we have the boppy to prop him up.

I'm Snug as a Bug!!
I wanted to take some pictures to put on thank you cards and birth announcements so here are some of my favorites. Archer was quite the trooper during this whole process.

Well he might have out grown the basket, just a little.

So this pose made for some really cute pictures, but the really funny part was that Archer rolled off the pillow and it didn't even phase him. Good thing Joel was there to catch him.

Although he was a tropper, he still had a few melt downs. Poor little guy.

This is My FAVORITE!!! Picture!! I love it!! Funny thing is that he is just about to roll off the pillow again.

Archer's Blessing

We decided to bless Archer in Joel's family ward growing up. I loved that after Joel blessed him, the Brother that was conduction sacrament said the it seemed like yesterday Joel was just in primary. I am so glad that so much of our family was willing to travel to be there and share this special day with us. Joel did such a wonderful job with the blessing, Archer is one lucky dude to have a Dad like him.

My 4th generation picture, Karen, Grammy, Mom, and Archer

Joel and I are so lucky that we were both able to have 4th generation pictures taken.
Joel, Scott, Grandpa Harris, and Archer.

Grandma and Grandpa Harris were so much fun.

Who knew that our family would grow so much in just a few short months.

My parents had so much fun spending time with their new grand kids.

Of course we couldn't forget our super cute niece and nephew, Grace and Caleb. Those two kids are so stinking cute!!! Archer should be so excited to share a birthday with Caleb.

Christmas Vaction

The holidays were filled with lots of fun and new memories. Just like my Dad and Archer taking a nap together.

Great Grand Parents, Grandma, and Grandpa Bybee were very happy to hold baby Archer.

Archer and Grandpa Harris, Joel's dad, Scott. I love little moments when I steal a quick picture when no one was looking.

I love to walk around Temple Square at Christmas time to see all the lights. We were able to meet my brother, Kevin and his wife, Becca, and finally meet our niece, Brooke. It was our first time using our stroller, I love it!! Becca and I had fun taking up the entire sidewalk with our super sweet strollers. My Grandma and Aunt Grace also met us and shared the Christmas lights with us.

I promised Joel that he could pick out a winter coat for Archer and we found this Adorable little bear snowsuit. At first I had Archer in fleece lined jeans and a vest underneath, it was totally a Ralfy moment from A Christmas Story, but when he could barely bend in the middle, we lost a few of the layers.

Poor Archer was starting to develop a tic because every time someone would walk past him, he would get a giant kiss or snuggle. Aunt Jessica, Aunt Erin and Uncle Adam couldn't resist his Cuteness!!!

I had to capture this moment, it makes my heart melt when I see my boys bonding. Joel is such a wonderful new Dad.

I couldn't ask for a better Christmas Morning.

These are some of my very best friends from High School. Paden, Emily, and Jenifer. We all able to get together at Emily's house that she is in the process of remodeling and Jen is expecting a little boy in February. I can't wait for our boys to be old enough to play together. I am so glad that we were able to see each other and catch up. Now that I know that both Jen and Paden are living in Logan I will have to go visit them when we are down visiting my family.
