Archer's Half Birthday!!!!!!!!

The weekend that Archer turned 6 months old GMa and GPa Harris were up visiting, and Boy DID WE HAVE A BLAST!! Archer also had his 6 month check up and he was 26 inches tall(50%), 17.5 pounds(50%), and his head was 17.5 inches around(75%). The DR. was very impressed and he was such a flirt with all the nurses and ladies there. Even after the nurse gave him his shots, which he took like a champ!

We, of course went to the Breakfast Club, where Archer was all smiles and giggles at Grandma. Afterward we walked around the farmers market, Where we had to introduce Joel's parents to the wonderful, super bad for you mini flavored donuts!! UUUUUMMMMMMMM, Lemon Basil is the BEST!!

Later that day we went for a drive out to Elk River. At the little general store out there they have homemade huckleberry ice cream. DELICIOUS!!! We put some on Archer's binkie and his little face would just light up. It was the cutest thing to see his little eybrows raise up and his eyes get really big.

Archer had fun showing GMa and GPa his new trick of rolling over, he is such a good little boy!!!

We had a wonderful weekend with them here and we are so glad they wanted to drive 8 hours to come babysit while Joel and I went to a friends wedding. It is always so great to see family and to have them come visit. We can't wait to have them come again and find more adventures to do with Archer.

Mother's Day!!

I was heart broken when Joel said he had to work, ALL DAY on Mother's Day but he made it up to me by making me breakfast, In Bed, he even got Archer ready for church so I could get all glammed up for the Day.
I wanted Archer to look his best so we went shopping earlier in the week and I found this Adorable little polo onsie. He looked so Handsome.

Archer and I had planned on taking a walk to park, but he decided to take a super long nap and then it was time to eat and so on and so on, but we had a fun time playing at home.
Joel, did such a good job at making me feel better, that he wasn't going to be home that he made me cheese cake, and bought me flowers the day before so I could enjoy them while he was gone.

The best Surprise was the Necklace he bought me, I had seen it in the JC Penny ad that came, and since Joel doesn't always get little hints I made it really easy for him. I left the opened ad on the counter in the bathroom, knowing that he needed some reading material, and hoping that he would get the hint. I even marked the one I liked with a pink X. As the weeks went by and nothing came in the mail, I figured he didn't get the hint. The Monday before Mother's day he and the Boy went shopping, I asked if I could go and he said he wasn't sure where he was going, so I stayed home. I thought he was just going to the mall in town or even over to Pullman, NOPE! I was so wrong, the little twurp, made a mad dash down the Lewiston to JC Penny and got the necklace and raced back. Archer's gift to me is the insurance policy just in case he grabs on and pulls a bit to hard. That Joel is a thinker!! In case the picture is to fuzzy it is a diamond heart with a gold image of a person holding a baby in the middle.  I LOVE IT!!!

I was hoping that Archer would roll over for Mother's Day and Well, It kinda happened. the Silly little boy rolled over in his bouncy chair. And then he realized he didn't like being on his belly.

All in all it was a wonderful First Mother's Day and I look forward to many many more!!
