So here is an update on what Cute little Archer has been up lately.
His little personality is starting to show more and more everyday. During church today he was laughing and smiling. We loved it, needless to say I had no idea what the speaker was saying. Unarry speaker!!

Joel thought it would be fun to see if he could sit up on his own, and well it kinda worked. He would be sitting up for a while and then he would slowly start so slide to one side.

Archer loves to sleep on his belly, good thing we have the boppy to prop him up.

I'm Snug as a Bug!!
I wanted to take some pictures to put on thank you cards and birth announcements so here are some of my favorites. Archer was quite the trooper during this whole process.

Well he might have out grown the basket, just a little.

So this pose made for some really cute pictures, but the really funny part was that Archer rolled off the pillow and it didn't even phase him. Good thing Joel was there to catch him.

Although he was a tropper, he still had a few melt downs. Poor little guy.

This is My FAVORITE!!! Picture!! I love it!! Funny thing is that he is just about to roll off the pillow again.

Archer's Blessing

We decided to bless Archer in Joel's family ward growing up. I loved that after Joel blessed him, the Brother that was conduction sacrament said the it seemed like yesterday Joel was just in primary. I am so glad that so much of our family was willing to travel to be there and share this special day with us. Joel did such a wonderful job with the blessing, Archer is one lucky dude to have a Dad like him.

My 4th generation picture, Karen, Grammy, Mom, and Archer

Joel and I are so lucky that we were both able to have 4th generation pictures taken.
Joel, Scott, Grandpa Harris, and Archer.

Grandma and Grandpa Harris were so much fun.

Who knew that our family would grow so much in just a few short months.

My parents had so much fun spending time with their new grand kids.

Of course we couldn't forget our super cute niece and nephew, Grace and Caleb. Those two kids are so stinking cute!!! Archer should be so excited to share a birthday with Caleb.

Christmas Vaction

The holidays were filled with lots of fun and new memories. Just like my Dad and Archer taking a nap together.

Great Grand Parents, Grandma, and Grandpa Bybee were very happy to hold baby Archer.

Archer and Grandpa Harris, Joel's dad, Scott. I love little moments when I steal a quick picture when no one was looking.

I love to walk around Temple Square at Christmas time to see all the lights. We were able to meet my brother, Kevin and his wife, Becca, and finally meet our niece, Brooke. It was our first time using our stroller, I love it!! Becca and I had fun taking up the entire sidewalk with our super sweet strollers. My Grandma and Aunt Grace also met us and shared the Christmas lights with us.

I promised Joel that he could pick out a winter coat for Archer and we found this Adorable little bear snowsuit. At first I had Archer in fleece lined jeans and a vest underneath, it was totally a Ralfy moment from A Christmas Story, but when he could barely bend in the middle, we lost a few of the layers.

Poor Archer was starting to develop a tic because every time someone would walk past him, he would get a giant kiss or snuggle. Aunt Jessica, Aunt Erin and Uncle Adam couldn't resist his Cuteness!!!

I had to capture this moment, it makes my heart melt when I see my boys bonding. Joel is such a wonderful new Dad.

I couldn't ask for a better Christmas Morning.

These are some of my very best friends from High School. Paden, Emily, and Jenifer. We all able to get together at Emily's house that she is in the process of remodeling and Jen is expecting a little boy in February. I can't wait for our boys to be old enough to play together. I am so glad that we were able to see each other and catch up. Now that I know that both Jen and Paden are living in Logan I will have to go visit them when we are down visiting my family.

Happy new Grandma's

Joel's Mom, Julie. She and Joel's Dad drove 8 hours to Moscow, and arrived just in time for me to start pushing, and about an hour later Archer was born.

My mom, Patti. Over the last year my mom has been very busy getting ready for 2 grand babies. My older brother and his wife had their daughter, Brooke in September. My parents have been waiting for grand kids forever and now they have 2 within months of each other. Mom liked to say, "It was like getting ready for twins."

Hospital

Finally after going 4 days past my due date, we were induced on December 2, 2011. By that evening, Archer was born at 6:03. Two years earlier our nephew Caleb was born as well. At least the Grandparent's won't have any trouble remembering their birthdays.

Umm, Yep that is Me up a tree, while 8 months pregnant. My Mother must be so proud.

Introducing Our Newist Member, Archer

Before Archer was born we had some pregnancy pictures takin, who knew looking like a beach ball would be so fun!

Welcome to the family

Karen, Joel and Archer

Hello and welcome to the Harris family blog. The purpose of this blog is to keep all of our family and friends updated on our lives and more importantly the lives of our children. So here it goes.

To begin with, we have been married for 2 years and on December 2, 2011, our family grew by one. Our son Archer Scott Harris was born at 6:03pm. He weighed in at 8lbs 7.5oz and was 22 inches. Since then our lives have been chaotic and fantastic. The last month has been filled many wonderful memories, especially while we were home visiting family for Christmas. We look forward to sharing those memories and many more with you.
